Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy describes BaliGenie’s current pre-launch position. The audited WordPress configuration does not currently show a dedicated analytics, advertising-pixel or cookie-consent plugin. The site still uses WordPress, its theme and active plugins, so technically necessary cookies or storage can be created by site functions. This page must be updated if the deployed technology changes.
Cookie categories
Necessary or functional cookies may be used where WordPress or a site feature needs them for security, sessions, preferences, account behaviour or another requested function. Analytics cookies would measure how visitors use the site. Advertising or marketing cookies would support ad targeting, attribution or similar commercial tracking.
BaliGenie is not currently claiming that all three categories are in use. They are described so the policy can remain understandable if the stack changes.
Actual technologies used
During the current audited build, BaliGenie runs on WordPress with active theme and plugin components that provide site functions. No common Google Analytics, tag-manager, advertising-pixel or dedicated consent plugin was detected by the latest configuration audit.
That finding describes the audited configuration; it is not a permanent promise. Server infrastructure, WordPress login functions and plugins can still use technical cookies or local storage when needed for a feature. Before launch, BaliGenie should test the browser output and update this policy to match the final deployed stack.
Purposes
Necessary storage can support functions such as keeping a session, protecting a form, remembering a preference or maintaining account state. If analytics is introduced later, its purpose should be limited and described before collection begins. If advertising technology is introduced, the commercial purpose and any consent mechanism should be stated clearly.
BaliGenie should not collect data merely because a plugin makes collection easy. The information gathered should have a defined operational or measurement purpose.
Consent/control
No dedicated cookie-consent platform is currently configured. If the final site introduces technologies that require consent or additional controls under applicable law, BaliGenie should deploy the appropriate control before those technologies are activated.
Browser settings can also restrict or delete cookies, but blocking necessary storage can stop some website functions from working correctly. A future on-site preference control should describe the actual choices rather than displaying categories that are not in use.
Third-party cookies
BaliGenie is not currently documenting an advertising or analytics third-party cookie relationship because the latest audit did not detect that stack. Embedded services, payment processors, maps, videos or other third-party features can create their own data flows if added later.
Before a new integration is placed on a public page, its privacy and cookie consequences should be reviewed instead of relying on this policy to cover it automatically.
Updates
This policy should be reviewed whenever analytics, advertising, account, payment, embedded-media or consent technology changes. The final pre-launch browser audit is particularly important because a plugin option can exist without loading on the front end, and a script can be loaded by a theme or template without an obvious plugin name.
The Privacy Policy covers personal-data handling more broadly.
Contact
If you have a question about cookies or data use on BaliGenie, use Contact. Because the project is still pre-commercial, the contact route and privacy documentation should be reviewed together before final launch.
